Silicone and silicone-free vacuum rings

The materials at work inside our vacuum rings are vital for the integrity of the final product. We only use the highest quality materials to ensure a safe and reliable product. Vacuum rings are available in silicone or non-silicone rubber depending on your specifications.

Silicone Vacuum Rings

Silicone FLA426 is commonly used in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food and beverage industries. It is a low residue material, but not residue-free. This means that it offers a smooth finish with minimum adhesion. It can withstand extremes of temperature, radiation, steam and corona throughout the manufacturing process. This high-performance material can outlast multiple production cycles.

Non-Silicone Vacuum Rings

While silicone vacuum rings are longer lasting than EPDM Rubber, there is one distinct difference. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a synthetic rubber that offers a completely residue-free application. Residue on the glass can cause problems down the production line. Our EPDM Rubber vacuum rings offer excellent ozone and weather-resistant properties. The material is also resistant to temperature extremes. And finally, this material offers excellent electrical insulation.
