Ring Type Joints

Flexitallic’s Ring Type Joints are typically used for high pressure applications, including oil and gas exploration. Ring Type Joints, or RTJs are typically used on valves and pipework assemblies. The Flexitallic range of Ring Type Joints are manufactured to meet both API 6A and ASME B16.20 sizes and ratings. This offers added flexibility to meet your needs. The R range is available in oval and octagonal profiles. The RX range energises on assembly, improving the efficiency of the seal. The groove profile ensures the RX range is interchangeable with the entire R range.

High pressure applications are also catered for with the BX style. This is typically used in subsea wellhead and Christmas tree systems. Rubber coated Ring Type Joints are also available with custom manufactured seals to suit a range of requirements.
