Sports & Leisure
Foam and rubber are used extensively in sports and leisure, particularly for equestrian, swimming and caravan applications, but also in the toy industry, film and theatre.
Plastazote is the lightest foam available. It’s also chemically inert so won’t cause rashes or reactions from being next to the skin. It’s ideal for swimming floats and lifebuoys as it won’t puncture even on impact like inflatables or pneumatics will.
General sports applications
Thanks to its cushioning properties, foam can also be used for body protectors, shin pads, helmet liners and handlebar pads.
We also manufacture camping and gym mats, stable matting for horses, golf mats for driving ranges, canoe seats, backpack padding and the foam protectors that go on trampoline frames. All foam is skinned before conversion and the skin goes off to be made into archery targets.
We manufacture rubber extruded seals and gaskets for doors/lockers as well as seals for caravan windows and doors.
Toys, theatres and film
Foam is being used more and more to create lightweight, hardwearing props for theatre and film work, and these properties also make it ideal for the toy and costume industry. It’s incredibly versatile and can be laminated, bonded, routed and water jet cut into any shape or form.
